As with several other birds from "home", the early English colonisers introduced the Song Thrush to a number of Australian towns.

Only in Melbourne have they survived and can be found in the denser vegetated areas of some of our parks and gardens. This one was found in the vegetation alongside the little creek in Fitzroy Gardens.
